The Chesterfield-Northeast project will rebuild a 14-mile section of an electric transmission line between our Chesterfield and Northeast substations in Henrico County, Virginia.
The approximately 14-mile section of a 115 (kV) electric transmission line has been in operation since the 1970s and is reaching its end of service life. Rebuilding this line will allow us to continue providing reliable service to the area.
