The Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) is responsible for verifying the need, determining the route, and reviewing the environmental impact of certain transmission lines in Virginia. Key filing documents will also be available on this page.

On Dec. 12, 2024, Dominion Energy filed its application with the SCC. Documents related to the case are available to the public on the SCC Docket of the SCC website or search by Case No. PUR-2024-00221 in the Search Cases section. In addition, interested parties may visit the SCC Case Comments page where individual mailboxes are available for each case accepting public comments. Please note, the mailbox may not be available until a scheduling order is issued, typically several weeks after an application is filed.

• April 23, 2025 - Respondent Testimony due
• May 7, 2025 - Staff Report due
• May 21, 2025 -Company Rebuttal Testimony due
• May 28, 2025 - Any interested person may submit comments on the Application (on or before)
• June 4, 2025 - Public witness signup deadline
• June 11, 2025 - Telephonic Hearing for Public Witness Testimony (10:00 A.M)
• June 11, 2025 - at 10:00 A.M. (In-Person) Public Evidentiary Hearing
