The project will take place between Eastover and Hopkins. The line begins and ends at existing substation and goes in an east to west direction. All work will be done on existing rights-of-way. Along the way, the line travels around McEntire Joint National Guard Base.
While most of the line is away from heavily traveled areas, there may be traffic control set up at road crossings occasionally as Dominion Energy and its contractors ensure the work is completed safely and effectively.
