Lake Monticello, SC

Lake Monticello is a reservoir along the Broad River.

It powers the Fairfield Pumped Storage hydroelectric plant and provides water for the V.C. Summer Nuclear station. Parr Reservoir powers the Parr Shoals hydroelectric plant.

Recreation facility hours:

  • Sunrise to Sunset, Weekdays
  • 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Weekends, April-September

Amenities: Picnic Facilities, Swimming* & Restrooms

Prohibited: Alcoholic Beverages, Pets
