The average processing time is 4-6 weeks. Please be aware that during peak heating and cooling seasons, we receive a large volume of applications. To ensure your check will be delivered in a timely manner, please use the checklist provided with each application. NOTE: Failure to include proof of purchase (detailed installation invoice) is the most common reason for delays in receiving a check.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is the most trusted source of performance certification for HVAC equipment. AHRI tests the performance of equipment and assigns a unique identifying number, which can then be used to look up performance information to include the SEER, EER and HSPF ratings. Your HVAC contractor should provide the AHRI number on your application.
Since our program follows ENERGY STAR® guidelines, we revised our minimum efficiency requirements to meet the ENERGY STAR® minimum efficiency level, which is now 15.2 SEER2.
