This mission is especially important during below freezing temperatures when families like you depend on us to heat your homes, cook your meals, and heat your water. It is no secret that North Carolina is growing fast and demand for natural gas has increased as a result. We're hard at work statewide with infrastructure and expansion projects to ensure our system is prepared to serve you. Our proposed Moriah Energy Center in Person County is one such example of how we are preparing for high demand during the heating season. The Moriah Energy Center would liquify and store natural gas during the summer when natural gas supplies are more readily available. During high demand periods, the liquified natural gas (LNG) would be turned back into gas for customer use.

The heating season not only underscores the need for a reliable and resilient natural gas system, but how we can help you manage your winter bills when you need it most. From our budget billing tool that allows for your monthly payments to be more predictable during seasonal weather swings, to Heat Care, our assistance program, we are here to help. Our partnerships with over 90 organizations and community action agencies throughout North Carolina provide additional resources, too.

And as we work around the clock to serve you, we want to make it easier for you to work with us. Our mobile app is the most secure means of allowing you to do everything from setting up bill alert notifications, auto pay or a payment arrangement. Our app also makes it easy for you to fact check a scammer trying to impersonate Dominion Energy. With a few taps you can quickly verify your account balance and payment due date.
