Demand for natural gas continues to grow in the Triangle and surrounding areas. To meet customer growth, Enbridge Gas will install a 45-mile natural gas pipeline from Eden to Roxboro. While the majority of construction would take place in 2026, Enbridge Gas may begin construction of an 8-mile section in 2025. This system reliability project will ensure the utility can meet demand while ensuring the safety and integrity of its pipeline system in compliance with regulations.
