Cherryville Distributing Company selected as part of diverse supplier initiative
Cherryville Distributing in North Carolina produced massive amounts of disinfectants used across Dominion Energy’s footprint.

Cherryville Distributing Co. supplied 1,000 gallons of hand sanitizer and 4,000 bottles of disinfectant to keep employees safe.
At the onset of the pandemic when hand sanitizer was in short supply, Cherryville Distributing Company quickly produced massive amounts of hand sanitizer and disinfectant for Dominion Energy employees across 16 states.
Cherryville Distributing Company, located about an hour from Charlotte, N.C., was selected as part of Dominion Energy’s diverse supplier initiative which aims to support diverse, small and local businesses.
“Not only were they able to provide a continuous supply of hand sanitizer for delivery every week when it was scarce, 1,000 gallons total, but they also supplied us with over 4,000 32oz spray bottles,” said Mitchell Blizzard, a sourcing specialist at Dominion Energy.
“Dominion Energy enabled us to keep our work at a steady pace. We were so appreciative to have the opportunity to not only help keep Dominion Energy employees feel safe, but also have the business coming,” said Matt Dellinger, the owner of Cherryville Distributing Company.
